Galatians 2:20 – “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me”

He is the remedy

I’m reminded of what Brother Lawrence wrote in his book “Practicing the Presence of God” saying “You are the remedy for all our maladies.” In fact, I keep hearing over and over in my spirit “I Am, the remedy. I Am, the remedy” – “Come what may! My grace is sufficient.”

The word “remedy” is “medicine, application or treatment that relieves or cures a disease. Something that corrects or counteracts; the legal means to recover a right or prevent wrongs.” It’s interesting, isn’t it? Fascinating, really. What words really mean when you dissect them, study them, look them up, dig deeper?

Let’s go deeper, shall we into this word “remedy/cure” – to relieve or serve as a remedy for a social evil, a cure, drug, medication, prescription, a specific prescription to heal, mend and cure. To correct, rectify, emend, amend, reform, revise; to make right what is wrong. To correct, implying taking action to remove errors, faults, deviations (mixture), defects. To rectify, implying a more essential change to make something right, just, or properly controlled or directed. To correct, remedy, implying removing or making harmless a cause of trouble, harm or evil to bring back into proper alignment, to redress, implying making compensation (pay back) or reparation for an unfairness, injustice or imbalance.

I think of this as it concerns me personally, my family and their situations and restitution in their lives, and for our nation – removing the evil and restoring and correcting bringing back into proper alignment. So be it, Lord.

You ARE the remedy, the only cure. You will cure all that ails us, our nation, our children and our families – our churches and religious systems; all that needs to be corrected and cause the enemy to make restitution for all he has stolen. You are reforming and bringing about something spectacular in this day. You are, our sabbath rest. We can climb up under your wing of safety and rest, knowing you’ve got everything in control.
